Tax set-aside on the home screen
Takes what you've invoiced, subtracts your expenses and supplier bills, and works out the tax on the profit using the ATO rates. Shows your bracket, how close you are to the next one, and how many cents of each extra dollar to keep.
Sole trader or company
Personal tax brackets plus Medicare for sole traders. The company rate for a Pty Ltd. Add wages from another job and it allows for the higher bracket.
Invoices that look the part
Your ABN, a proper "Tax Invoice" once you're registered for GST, and your PayID and bank details with the invoice number as the reference. Sent as a PDF by email or text in a couple of taps.
Purchase orders
Raise a PO for materials against the job. When the supplier's bill comes in, it becomes an expense and comes off your profit, so the tax figure stays right.
